Vidyut Jammwal takes off to Thailand to start shooting for Junglee
Junglee has been locked for release on Dussehra on October 19
Vidyut Jammwal is gearing up for his upcoming venture and has taken off to Thailand to start shooting for Junglee Pictures’s next project, Junglee.

The 36-year-old actor was pictured on the airport and it can be easily figured that he was more than excited.
The Chuck Russels directorial is an action-adventure thriller aimed at spreading awareness about the illegal practice of elephant poaching. And guess who will hold the sword to eradicate this evil? No points for guessing, the protagonist, Vidyut Jamwal.
Vidyut will be seen playing the character of Ashwath, born and brought up in the jungles of Kerala - who goes on to become a big shot veterinarian in the big city of Mumbai - much to his animal-activist father's disappointment.
Upon his grandmother's insistence, Ashwath visits the jungle for the tenth death anniversary of his mother. His homecoming is met with some thaw with his father and it gets warmer as he reunites with his childhood elephant sister, whom he refers to as 'Didi', and her calf, 'Apu'.
But little does he know about the danger of poaching looming over the jungle until it actually strikes and takes the lives of 'Apu' as well as his father.
The major announcement was made by the production house on November 13. In the tweet, Vidyut was pictured with the filmmaker Chuck Russels.
In an earlier given interview, the Hollywood filmmaker said that he's enjoying working with this Bollywood hunk.
Speaking to Delhi Times, he said, ' For the first time, I met Vidyut Jammwal, I could imagine no one else in this role. He has a charm & a good humour that is rarely combined with such physicality. In that way, it reminds me of meeting Dwayne Jhonson for the first time, for his leading role on Scorpion King.' We bet being compared to Dwayne Jhonson has certainly boosted Vidyut's performance in the movie.’
Junglee is about elephant poaching and ivory smuggling and has been locked for release on Dussehra on October 19 next year.
