The one-time Socceroo will reply to any of your questions, particularly in relation to a candid interview he has just done with the Newcastle Herald which featured him last weekend.

I love Newcastle,I live on the beach,I get to focus on me and my career which is ideal after being out of the game for a while. Secondly... No regrets my friend,ive learnt alot about myself and I treat life as a journey,well I guess mine's a roller coaster but I wouldn't have it any other way! My focus is as good as it's ever been and so is my skill level....but if im to improve again, I dare say I will have to return to Europe!

I know it's wise not to expect it and it would be a bonus if you were called up again, but don't give up. Especially now we're in Asia and the NT plays Asian Cup, aswell as World Cup Qualifiers. You still have a few good years left in you as a footballer, and if you keep up the way you've been playing, a call up will come, sooner or later. Question 1) Judging by some of your previous interviews, you obviously enjoyed your time in the Swiss league. How does the A-League compare to this league? I know we have quite some way to go, but I mean the question more as, is the A-League at present that far off, standard wise, a league like that? Could your average A-League team compete well in that league? Question 2) Would you be open to playing professional football in France? We have had soo few players play Ligue 1, but it's one of the best 5 leagues in Europe. And I presume from your time in Switzerland, you may speak a bit of French? But yes, wisdom dictates, one step at a time, ofcourse - just asking. ;) And Perth will be back baby! Sage is taking Glory places and the Jets and other A-League clubs better watch out, this coming season. ;)

What are your thoughts about Viduka thinking about retiring and also the worries of him returning to the A-league and the way Aliosi has been treated because of his performances. Was the public too hard on him (Aliosi) in your opinion?? I think the way that you have returned to the A-league and the way you've backed yourself and succeeded should be an example to anyone overseas thinking of coming back. I am a SFC fan but I also go for the jets cause I love what dutchy does with the team. I became a fan when you stripped down after the win in the ACL, what were u thinking? Sometimes you just have to stick it up the powers that be, or management for that matter. A bit of power generally isn't handled to well by humans. It would seem to me in Australia and not just in football, that if your slightly opinionated then your un-australian or some sort of deviot. \ I think in the end you'll mainly be remembered for the football and skill you bring to the game and if you go back to Europe then I'm glad I got to watch you in the ACL show your stuff. If you stayed for a longer I believe you could help Newcastle get into the finals, without you they will struggle.

Dont know why someones sexuality is important anyway...best to just live and let live... No euro visa,would love to play in Italy,France,Spain and of course CROATIA! I love Caramello Koala's!!!! I used to follow Melbourne Croatia! Now I don't follow anyone... Henry was great but the best players ive played against would have to be Riquelme and Ribery! How can he give caps to players that will never put on the shirt again (e.g vargas melbourne victory) If Verbeek does not like A-league players because they do not have the right experience, then he should be smart enough to pick the ones that actually played in europe and had the balls to come back and help the A-league grow.
