Borussia Dortmund advanced into the Europa League play-off round following an emphatic 5-0 home victory over Austrian opponents Wolfsberger, to take the tie 6-0 on aggregate.
Athletic Bilbao drew 0-0 away with Azerbaijani outfit Inter Baku but also progressed given their 2-0 first leg win in the Basque Country.
Meanwhile, despite beating Serbia's Vojvodina 2-0 away from home, Italian side Sampdoria could not overcome their humiliating 4-0 home loss in the first leg.

Russian sides Kuban Krasnodar and Rubin Kazan both endured nervy second leg affairs to make it through to the play-off round.
Krasnodar drew 3-3 away from home at Slovakia's Slovan Bratislava, and given their 2-0 victory in the first leg went through 5-3 on aggregate.
Rubin also drew, this time at home to Sturm Graz 1-1 but having defeated the Austrians 3-2 away from home in the first leg, Rinat Bilyaletdinov's men won through 4-3.
French outfit Saint-Etienne, who recently sold their Ivory Coast international Max Gradel to Premier League new boys Bournemouth for £7million, emerged victorious over their two legs against FCM Targu Mures.
Having comfortably beaten the Romanians 3-0 away in the first leg, they then lost at 2-1 home on Thursday, therefore winning the tie 4-2.
