  • curprev 21:0921:09, 4 March 2020Fay Freak talk contribs 6,327 bytes +692 As noted on the talk page 10 years ago, this term is used in AUS&NZ too (search Maori caucusses for example), though surely it derives from America, and it is used in Israel and heavily in ZA and also Zimbabwe (adding a quote for a transitive sense here some dictionaries have too), even in Punjab, though definitely not in Europe. Especially In Israel it goes beyond parties; but that is borrowed into the US again. fr.Wikt has 5 French senses. undo
