テーラー‐システム【Taylor system】

米国機械技師F=Wテーラー20世紀初頭に提唱した工場管理方式動作研究時間研究とそれに基づく課業設定され差別的出来高給制度職能的職長導入して課業管理を行うことをとする。


テイラー・システム

テイラー・システム(Taylor System)とは、フレドリック・テイラーによって確立された、工場作業者を効率的に管理するためのマネジメントシステムのことを指し科学的管理方法とも呼ばれている。
テイラーは、当時蔓延していた非効率業務遂行怠業といった問題解決するため、作業いくつかのユニット分けユニットごとの動作やその作業終えるまでの時間調査した。そして課業1日標準的な作業量)を定めどのような人材でも課業達成できるよう、作業方法手順工具等)の標準定めた。これにより、経営者側は作業を「管理」することが可能となり、生産性の向上寄与した
人材マネジメント観点からの論点としては、テイラー・システムの成立により、作業員仕事効率性評価スキル不足の作業員教育が可能となったことも挙げられる例えば、ある作業一定の動作のもと、ある一定の時間内で終えることができると仮定することで、時間内に作業終えられない従業員に対しては、より効率的な動き仕事仕方)をトレーニングすることができる。
またテイラーは、一定の時間内に基準量に達した場合達しなかった場合で貸率を変動させることで、従業員仕事対す意欲掻き立てようとする仕組み考案した。これは金銭的報酬多寡モチベータとして従業員モチベーションを向上させようとする、現在のインセンティブ成果主義にも通じ考え方である。

科学的管理法(かがくてきかんりほう、: Scientific management)は「労働の科学とその管理」を用いたマネジメント手法である[1]。テイラー・システムとも呼ばれる。

  1. ^ 最適な形で統一・マニュアル化すること。このマニュアルを指図票という。
  2. ^ その方法は、テイラーのいう「要素動作」をより緻密に分析してサーブリッグ (Therblig) という単位に細分化し、生産につながらない無駄なサーブリッグを排除するというやり方。サーブリッグ(Therblig)の由来は、ギルブレス(Gilbreth)の逆読み。
  3. ^ 現在でも企業に一般に採用されている組織形態である。
  4. ^ ただし、当時の米国の労働組合は熟練工が中心となって組織されており、従来、内部請負制によって現場を牛耳っていた熟練工が科学的管理法の導入によって特権を失うことへの反発などが背景にあった面は否めない。また、テイラーの指導を受けた工場の工員たちは科学的管理法に賛成であったという。
