日焼け

日焼け（ひやけ）は、紫外線を皮膚に浴びることにより、皮膚が赤く炎症を起こす急性症状（サンバーン sunburn）と、人体の色素のメラニンが皮膚表面に色素沈着すること（サンタン sun tanning）である[1]。サンバーンでは日焼けから2-6時間後には赤くなり次第に痛みを増し、しばしば後日に皮剥けを起こすが、サンタンは数日後に見られやや遅い。日焼けの影響として皮膚がんが知られる。
