カンチレバー
英語 cantilever
支持体に一端を固定し、他端で荷重を支えるレバーのこと。片持ち梁とも呼ぶ。材料力学や機械力学では、このような条件を「一端ではたわみとたわみ角の双方が拘束され、残りの一端では双方が拘束されない」と表現している。自動車でこのような支持構造はフレームアウトリガーやバンパーサポート、ダイナミックダンパーなどに使用される。
