Windows Mobileとは、Microsoftが提供している、モバイル端末向けのオペレーティングシステム（OS）の名称である。
Windows Mobileは、携帯電話やPDAなどのようなモバイル機器にあらかじめ組み込まれた形式で提供されている。Windows Mobile搭載機器では、WindowsのユーザーインターフェースでOffice Mobileなどのソフトウェアを利用することができる。「Word Mobile」や「Excel Mobile」を使用したドキュメントの作成や閲覧、「Outlook Mobile」を利用したメール、Webブラウザの「Internet Explorer」を用いたWebサイトの閲覧、「Windows Media Player」を用いたマルチメディアの再生などが可能である。
また、無線LANやVPN（仮想プライベートネットワーク）、IrDAやBluetoothなどの赤外線通信など、様々な方法によってネットワークに接続することが可能である。ネットワークを通じてExchange Serverや自分のPCのOutlookと連携し、情報を同期することもできる。
2007年11月現在、Windows Mobileの最新バージョンはWindows Mobile 6となっている。Windows Mobileを搭載しているモバイル端末の例としては、WILLCOMが販売しているW-ZERO3などがある。
