Majordomo

メーリングリスト管理ソフトウェア。Great Circle Associates社の創設者Brent Chapmanが開発し、Great Circle Associates社がメンテナンスを行っている。Mailmanやfmlとは異なり、手軽な設定ツールなどは付属していないシンプルな構成だが、メーリングリスト管理ソフトウェアとして必要な機能は十分に備えており、導入が容易なため現在も世界中で使われている。

Majordomoは、Great Circle AssociatesのBrent Chapmanが開発したメーリングリスト管理ソフトウェア。Perlで記述され、UNIXやそれに類するオペレーティングシステムの上でSendmailと連携して動作する。“major domo”(ラテン語「家の長」) は家令を指す言葉である。
