FaceTime
FaceTimeとは、Appleが提供している、iPhoneなどでビデオ通話（テレビ電話）を実現する機能の名称である。
FaceTimeに対応する機器同士では、特別な設定を行わずに手軽に720pのHD映像を使用したビデオ通話ができる。
FaceTimeはiPhone 4に初めて搭載された。後にiPod touch、MacBook Pro、iPadなどもFaceTimeに対応し、相互にビデオ通話を行うことが可能となっている。

FaceTime（フェイスタイム）は、Appleが開発したVoIP、ビデオ通話（ビデオ電話）ソフトウェアアプリケーション、およびそれに関連するプロトコルである。

詳細は「FaceTime」を参照 iOS 4では、端末のカメラを使って他の端末とビデオ通話ができるテレビ電話AppのFaceTimeが導入された。この機能は、iPhone 3G、iPod touch (第2世代)、iPhone 3GS、iPod touch (第3世代)では、前面カメラなどの必要な機能がなかったため、搭載されていなかった。

iOS 15では、FaceTimeにグリッド表示とポートレートモードが追加された。また、空間オーディオや雑音を減らす機能も追加された。Appleは、新たに追加されたリンクとカレンダーイベントにより、WindowsやAndroid端末のウェブブラウザからFaceTimeの通話に参加することが可能になった。
