BBC News Channel

BBCニュース（BBC News）チャンネルは、イギリスの公共放送・英国放送協会（BBC）が所有・運営する無料[1]テレビニュースチャンネル。ロンドンのウェスト・エンドにあるブロードキャスティング・ハウスを拠点として放送しており、イギリスの昼間はそこからアンカーが務め、夜間の放送はワシントンD.C.とシンガポールからアンカーが務める[2]。BBCのデジタル国内テレビチャンネルへの進出の一環として、1997年11月9日17:30に「BBCニュース24（BBC News 24）」として開始され、1989年から運営されていたSky Newsの最初の競合相手となった[3]。
