うつびょう ―びやう 0 【▼鬱病】

気分の抑鬱、意欲や生命感の低下など鬱状態を特徴とする精神障害。躁鬱病のうちの鬱病相をさすことが多いが、ほかに心理的原因による反応性鬱病、中毒や脳病変による鬱病など広い範囲のものを含む。鬱憂症。抑鬱症。

うつ病（うつびょう、鬱病、欝病）とは、気分障害の一種であり、抑うつ気分や不安・焦燥（しょうそう）、精神活動の低下、食欲低下、不眠症などを特徴とする精神疾患である。
