『モダン・タイムス』（Modern Times）は、1936年のアメリカ映画。チャールズ・チャップリンが監督・製作・脚本・作曲を担当した喜劇映画で、彼の代表作のひとつである。モノクロ、サウンド版。

- ^ このシーンは最初2人を正面から映す時は2人の影が前に伸びているが、次のショットで歩き去る2人の後ろ姿を映す時は逆に影が後ろに伸びている。大野裕之は実際の撮影現場を訪れて、二つのショットの撮影場所が山一つ離れた位置にあり、（最初のショットが夜明けであるのに）最後のショットが夕方であることを確認し、2人の道のりが長く険しいことを示唆していると結論付けている[12][13]
