マウナ・ロア山

マウナ・ロア山（マウナ・ロアさん、Mauna Loa）は、ハワイ諸島にある活火山であり、ハワイ島を形成する5つの火山のうちの1つである。マウナ・ロアとは、ハワイ語で「長い山」の意である。山頂にはモクアウェオウェオと呼ばれるカルデラがあり、その表面は大きく露出している。マウナ・ロア山の体積は約75,000 km3であり (富士山は1,400 km3)[1]、地球で最も体積の大きい山でもある。
