プロビンスタウン (Provincetown [ˈprɒvɪnsˌtaʊn]) は、アメリカ合衆国マサチューセッツ州バーンスタブル郡のケープコッドの先端にあるニュー・イングランド・タウン。年間を通じた人口は3千人以下の小さな海岸リゾート街であるが、夏季には6万人もの人々が集まる[1]。「ピー・タウン (P-town )」と略して呼ばれる[2]この町は、海岸、港と漁業、リゾートと芸術の町として知られ、多くの観光客が訪れている。自由な雰囲気からゲイ・タウンとしてLGBTQコミュニティのバケーションの地としてもその名が通っている。
