マクリントック【Barbara McClintock】

［1902〜1992］米国の遺伝学者。トウモロコシの研究からトランスポゾンの存在を発見、その分析を通じて細胞遺伝学に先駆的業績を残した。1983年ノーベル生理学医学賞受賞。

バーバラ・マクリントック（Barbara McClintock, 1902年 6月16日 - 1992年 9月2日）は、アメリカ合衆国の細胞遺伝学者。トウモロコシを用いた染色体の研究で知られる。トランスポゾンの発見により1983年にノーベル生理学・医学賞を受賞している。
