チョウザメ科（学名：Acipenseridae）は、チョウザメ目に分類される科。いわゆる古代魚とされる分類群の1つである。

チョウザメ科 Acipenseridae は2亜科4属25種からなる。すべて北半球に分布し、淡水魚あるいは産卵のために河川に遡上する遡河性の魚類である。体の両側に菱形の硬鱗が5列並んでいることが特徴である。口は下向きについており突き出すことが可能で、周りには4本のヒゲがある。成魚には歯がなく、浮き袋は大きい。同定の難しい種が多い。絶滅属として Protoscaphirhynchus 属が知られる。 Acipenserinae 亜科 3属23種。Pseudoscaphirhynchus 属はアラル海水系、Scaphirhynchus 属はミシシッピ川水系に分布する。チョウザメ属 Acipenser Pseudoscaphirhynchus 属 Scaphirhynchus 属 Husinae 亜科 1属2種。ダウリアチョウザメ（カルーガ）とオオチョウザメ（ベルーガ）はいずれも非常に大型の魚類で、後者は少なくとも体長4.2mの個体が記録されている。ダウリアチョウザメ属 Huso
