ジョゼフ・アディソン（英語: Joseph Addison PC PC (Ire)、1672年 5月1日 – 1719年 6月17日）は、イギリスのエッセイスト、詩人、劇作家、政治家、文学者。ジョゼフはジョセフ、アディソンはアジソンと訳される事もある。熱心なホイッグ党の支持者であり、アン女王の治世に友人のリチャード・スティール（英語版）と共にエッセイ新聞『スペクテイター』（1711年 – 1714年）を創刊して^[1]、18世紀市民文学の基礎を確立したことで知られる^[2]。
