サクソフォーン（英: Saxophone）またはサクソフォン、サキソフォンは、通常は真鍮製で、単簧（シングルリード）マウスピースを使って演奏される木管楽器の一族である[1]。口語ではサックス（sax）と略称で呼ばれる。
注釈
- ^ まれにプラスチックやガラスなどで作ったものもあり、チャーリー・パーカーなど著名演奏家が使った例もある。
- ^ S,A,A,T,Bの5本ものサックスが使用されている。現在でも演奏の機会に恵まれているオーケストラ作品としては異例の規模である。
- ^ 2002年にパリのラジオ・フランスでの演奏会、次いで2003年にブリュッセルのアルス・ムジカ現代音楽祭にて披露された。公式サイト
