アンソニー・ヴァン・ダイク

アンソニー・ヴァン・ダイク（英: Anthony van Dyck[1]、1599年3月22日 - 1641年12月9日）は、バロック期のフランドル出身の画家。- ^ 「Anthony van Dyck」は英語圏での綴りである。出身地のオランダ語圏では姓の「ヴァン・ダイク」は「van Dijck」と綴り、名の「アンソニー」は「Anthonis」「Antoon」「Anthonie」「Antonio」「Anthonio」など様々なオランダ語の名に相当する。フランス語では「Antoine」イタリア語では「Anthonio」「Antonio」となる。「van」は英語では近年になるまで先頭が大文字の「Van」が使用されることが多く、「Dyck」もヴァン･ダイクの存命時は「Dyke」が使用されることが多かった
