本項では、アメリカ合衆国の警察（アメリカがっしゅうこくのけいさつ）などの法執行機関について述べる。

- ^ 建築基準法に違反のホテルに罰金が課せられたが、フロリダ州在住の所有者が罰金を支払わなかったため、ホテル1棟を差し押さえた事例[17]。
- ^ タバコ密売を摘発する為、スタテンアイランドのコンビニ40軒に対し一斉捜索を行ったもの。タバコ税法違反で計325カートンを押収し2名を逮捕した[18]。
