ぎょしゃ座イオタ星

ぎょしゃ座イオタ星 (ι Aur / ι Aurigae) は、ぎょしゃ座の方角にある恒星である。アラビア語で「御者の足首」を意味するKabdhilinanを縮めたアルカブ（Al Kab）という固有名を持つ。1391年のジェフリー・チョーサーの著書『天文観測儀論』（Treatise on the Astrolabe）では、小惑星探査のマーカーとして用いられたと書かれている。Antonin Bečvářの地図では、Hassalehという名前で書かれている。中国では五車一として知られる。
